New grab cranes and forklift trucks
In April and May, Jansen Recycling Group added three new Liebherr grab cranes and four new Linde forklift trucks to its fleet.
The three cranes, two larger (LH40 type) and one smaller (A916 type), are operating at our yards in Dordrecht and Vlaardingen. The cranes are equipped with the ERC energy recovery system, helping to save fuel simply and effectively, and not two, but three cylinders. The third is a cylinder filled with nitrogen, which becomes compressed during the downward movement through the weight of the grab attachment, storing energy. As the equipment is lifted, the stored energy assists the lifting action. Thanks to this interplay of forces, the cylinders need less pressure to do their work and the engine can deliver the same power while increasing efficiency.
In addition to the grab cranes, we have welcomed four new Linde forklift trucks (H30D and H50D types) to our fleet, each fitted with a particulate filter and fuel-efficient engine.
At Jansen Recycling Group, we invest continuously in new equipment. The new, more efficient systems deliver fuel savings and reduce carbon emissions. The crane operators and forklift drivers also find operating these new machines a real pleasure. Besides that, we simply need this new equipment given the ever-increasing tonnage of material arriving at our yard. At Jansen Recycling Group, we’re working on a world as it is meant to be!
