Introduction a new line of containers: The JansenBox
Following a lengthy period of research, JRG has, together with Bas Kooy, developed a new line of containers for its industry customers. Introducing the “Jansen Box”!
The containers had to be robust, lightweight, durable, standardised, and adapted for the supplier’s environment. They had to be liftable from all sides with a fork-lift truck, safe to use, and easy to stack. Furthermore they had to be designed to make full use of a trailer’s loading capacity, ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective transportation to JRG. We are justifiably proud of the result! Particularly as this project is a great example of what can be achieved through teamwork, embracing both internal and external parties.
Staff from our technical department, the yard, and business development, alongside our logistics partner Bas Kooy, have worked tirelessly to bring this project to a successful conclusion. Also noteworthy is the conscious decision to produce these containers in The Netherlands reaffirming our support for local employment and sustainability. To extend the life span of the containers and simultaneously protect their sleek design, they are manufactured from high quality, hard-wearing, galvanised steel. All in all, another great example of how JRG, together with its partners, is working on a world as it is meant to be.
