Heavy shearing
Heavy shearing has a thickness of > 6 mm. This is primarily construction material. Galvanised nuts and bolts and power cables may still be attached. Rebar also comes under this category.

The quality of heavy shearing is better when it is clean and homogeneous. And is free of mechanical and galvanised parts or other ‘contamination’. Examples include (painted) beams or pipes, profiles, sheet piling, iron sheeting or train rails.
