Here at Jansen Recycling Group, we’ve been recycling all kinds of vessels for years. Recently, for example, we dismantled and recycled a hopper barge at our Vlaardingen yard.

Weighing 200,000 kilogrammes, the hopper barge had to be shipped to our yard, where it proved quite a challenge to get it onto the quay, but the Hebo company ultimately got the job done expertly.

The vessel was subsequently dismantled into secondary raw materials, which were taken to various smelting plants. This was yet another fine project through which we make the world that little bit better.
