New yard for non-ferrous scrap in Dordrecht

Work on our new non-ferrous scrap yard in Dordrecht is well and truly underway. The new site is being prepared for non-ferrous activities, which will be relocated from our Rotterdam site. The new non-ferrous site will measure around 14,000m², making it 40% larger than the former site.

The entire site at Dordrecht’s inland port area has been paved with certified liquid tight surfacing. A new weigh hall of 400m² has been built on site, along with a second non-ferrous scrap storage area measuring 2,000 m². We will be doubling our current office space. To be able to unload and load incoming and outgoing materials quickly, we are building a second weighbridge and designing entrances and routes for maximum efficiency.

The relocation of non-ferrous activities is the final phase of a plan spanning several years that aims to centralise Jansen Recycling Group’s operations.
