In late 2015, Jansen Recycling Group successfully completed the dismantling of the wreckage of the car carrier Baltic Ace.
On December 5, 2012, the Baltic Ace, a car carrier en route from Zeebrugge to Kotka, Finland, collided with a container ship in the North Sea. The wreck was salvaged by the Boskalis and Mammoet Salvage consortium on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat. Jansen Recycling Group was responsible for dismantling and processing the wreckage—and completed the project successfully, well within the agreed timeframe.
